Abstract

Increasing Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) is a serious problem for researches in modern radio astronomy. Various techniques to excise RFI from signals data are being tried out. In this paper, various methods of RFI excision at radio astronomy are described. RFI mitigation researches and implements in radio astronomy society are also presented. Especially, RFI mitigation researches in China radio astronomy and the importance of RFI mitigation for Chinese next generation radio astronomy equipments are introduced. © 2008 IEEE.
