Abstract
Additive technologies have certainly brought many novelties into today's industry. Also, the development of AM technologies directly depends on the development of AM materials themselves, so the examination of the mechanical properties of new AM materials is of great importance. The aim of this research is to examine the tensile mechanical properties of three different FDM 3D printed materials: PETG, ASA and PLA-Strongman. The advantage that certainly distinguishes AM technologies compared to classic production technologies is the production of materials with an infill structure. So, the tensile properties of the materials with and without the infill structure were also analysed. For all materials, tensile and yield strength, tensile strength at brake, elastic modulus and deformation at brake are analysed, compared, and presented in this paper.
