Abstract

Background: In this toddler period the development of language skills takes place very quickly and is the basis for further development. So that every slightest deviation or deviation if not detected and handled properly will reduce the quality of human resources in the future. Research Objectives: To find out the description of language development in children aged 1-2,5 years at Puskesmas I Denpasar Selatan. Methodology : This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach . The sampling technique used purposive sampling and the data collection instrument used the KPSP form. The data analysis technique used univariate analysis. Results: The data above can be obtained information that most respondents (55%) have language development that is not in accordance with their age and almost half of respondents (45%) have appropriate language development. Conclusion: This shows that language development in children 1-2,5 years old at Puskesmas I Denpasar Selatan is mostly in the inappropriate category.
