Revision of the genus Ebbrittoniella Martínez (Coleoptera: Scarabaeoidea: Ceratocanthidae)

Abstract

The Oriental genus Ebbrittoniella Martínez, 1962 is redescribed. The current spelling Eubrittoniella is emended. Cyphopisthes gestroi (Paulian, 1942) is transferred to Ebbrittoniella. Presently the genus includes E. ignita (Westwood, 1883) and E. gestroi (Paulian, 1942). Some features of male and female genitalia and the affinities of the genus are briefly discussed.
