Perencanaan Persediaan Bahan Baku Untuk Menghindari Resiko Keterlambatan Produksi Produk Karet Compound Menggunakan Metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP)

Abstract

CV Berkah Mandiri is a company engaged in the manufacture of rubber types by producing compound rubber types. The problem that often occurs at CV Berkah Mandiri is the imbalance between raw material needs and consumer demand in the field. So far, CV Berkah Mandiri has not purchased raw materials based on proper analysis and only relied on thought, companies often buy raw material inventories without paying attention to inventory management. This results in a shortage or excess of raw materials. Raw material inventory planning to avoid delays in the production of compound rubber products in the period January to December 2023 at CV. Berkah Mandiri uses the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method with two lot sizing techniques, namely Lot-for-Lot (LFL) and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). From the calculation results of the two lot sizing techniques used, it is proven that the Lot-for-Lot (LFL) technique is the best lot sizing technique because it has the smallest raw material inventory planning costs with a total cost of Rp. 14,009,366.00.
