Abstract

Our patient had AL-amyloidosis confirmed with immunohistochemical stains and monoclonal plasma cells in bone marrow examination. This patient also had prolonged INR and aPTT with combined deficiencies of factor X, XII, and VIII. The mechanisms for coagulopathy in patients with systemic amyloidosis is likely multifactorial.
