Abstract

Thirty-nine new species of Cardiodctatylus Saussure are described from the western Pacific region-between Tongo and Samoa in the East and Ishigaki Island near Taiwan. Much collecting through the Pacific indicates that the genus does not extend east of Samoa. Species of Mikluchomaklaia, Madasumma, Landreva, Lebinthus and Modiocogryllyus are also described.
