Abstract

We report the case of an unvaccinated tourist who was exposed to multiple tick bites during a bike tour crossing several European countries with ongoing tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) transmission and who presented a typical TBE clinical course with favorable outcome. © 2010 International Society of Travel Medicine.
