Data from recent publications on the long-term response of trees to atmospheric CO2 enrichment are discussed. The papers reviewed included research on Pinus taeda, Citrus aurantium and Quercus ilex. The discussion focuses on the predicting the duration of a CO2-induced standing biomass enhancement.
