Abstract
This paper presents the characteristics of the capabilities of intellectual corporate information systems, which are used for product quality management (including the management of its environmental aspects) which facilitates sustainable development. We demonstrated the specifics of using AI technologies in the context of the focus on the optimisation of resource spending, the use of the methods of the circular economy, and the use of alternative materials. It should be noted that the presented directions of intellectualisation of production, which are connected with an increase in environmental friendliness and sustainability of products, are accessible mainly to large manufacturing companies. It is possible to state that despite the difficulties with adaptation for companies with limited resource potential, there is a perspective of applying the innovative technologies of the AI economy to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. The goal of this paper was to reveal the relationship between the use of the environmental aspects of product quality management with the help of corporate information systems and the support of sustainable development of the AI economy. We used the following methods for the research: the abstract and logical method, random sampling, statistical method, and comparative method. The scientific novelty of this research consists in determining new opportunities for the integration of AI technologies in the context of an increase in environmental parameters of product quality.
