Abstract

The design, performance and legal aspects of water disinfection systems are examined. Codes of practice and standards relating to water disinfection systems are outlined. Procedures and biological testing of the water are described. The ability of water disinfection systems for removing Legionellae is discussed. (P.M. Taylor)
