Abstract
The non-linear static pushover analysis is a new method used to assess the behavior of a structure subjected to seismic activity. The main objective of this study is to explore the pushover method by determining its various concepts, objectives, underlying assumptions, and the conditions of its applicability, as well as, the procedure followed to apply this method. The pushover method was applied to a reinforced concrete frame, taken from a residential R+3 building in accordance with the seismic construction regulations RPS2000. We used the non-linear SAP2000 software to obtain the fragility curve and pushover curve.
