Abstract

The study aimed to explore the nature of the relationship between psychological stress and future anxiety among university students. The general research question was formulated as follows: “Is there a significant relationship between psychological stress and future anxiety among university students?” The study sample included 7, 403 male and female students, and the following scales were applied: the Psychological Stress Scale by Dr. Nabil Kamel and Professor Ibrahim Al-Hajjar (2005), and the Future Anxiety Scale by Ghaleb Al-Mashikhi (2009). The descriptive method was followed, and data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The study reached the following conclusions:
