Abstract

The book titled "Strategic Human Resource Management in Higher Education" explores the HRM practices and challenges faced by higher education institutions in India. It compares these practices with those in the USA and discusses the structure and governance of higher education institutions, the importance of strategic HRM, employee motivation and job satisfaction, and the implications of the National Education Policy (NEP) implemented in 2020. The authors provide practical recommendations for improving HRM in higher education institutions in India.
