Abstract

After a brief review of the historical progression of postvention services, from a suicide related service to a service for any unexpected death which disrupts a school setting, we discuss intervention structure and process. Issues for school administration, staff, and postvention teams are highlighted. We describe techniques for the preparation of postvention team members. © 1994, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
