Former observations on glacial and fluvioglacial deposits along the Teutoburger Wald between Beilefeld and Lengerich are interpreted as terminal moraines. The 'Osning-Halt' at the Teutoburger Wald might be defined as a glacial advance favoured by orography within the gaps and stopped by the mountains.-from English summary
