Abstract

Health education is one of the actions that can be performed in order toincrease knowledge about health in order to improve the health of particularly age adultswith hypertension. This study uses a quasi-experimental design. Samples 36 adulthoodwith random sampling. The results showed that health education is given a meaningfulimpact on patients' adherence to antihypertensive drugs in adulthood and family supportare factors that affect adherence adulthood in taking antihypertensive medication. Thisstudy is recommended to do health education in a sustainable manner through existingactivities in the community directly and indirectly.
