Abstract

Digital learning environments have become a fundamental tool in university education, and postgraduate studies are becoming increasingly important due to their special academic characteristics. The purpose of this study is to find out how technology has been used as a training resource in the learning processes of students at postgraduate level. To this end, questionnaires have been carried out in four universities in Colombia, Costa Rica, Spain and Mexico using a sample of 180 postgraduate students. The results show that postgraduate students have a high level of training in the use of digital tools compared to other educational levels; postgraduate studies have a high level of integration of ICT tools in their training programmes; and there are no significant differences between the participating countries with regard to difficulties in the use and integration of digital platforms, despite the programmatic or social differences between them.
