Abstract
A clinical trial can be defined as a research study involving human subjects (or participants) to evaluate the effect of interventions or exposures on biomedical or health-related outcomes. Clinical trials are important for establishing new treatment modalities and improving upon current standards of practice in the healthcare environment.
