Abstract
Geography is the science that is able to support the needs of learners in improving the understanding of spatial phenomena especially in the lining of the geosphere. It is a challenge for geography education to form students who have the potential to recognize cultural diversity and natural resources. The ability to think geographically is a pattern that developed in learning geography. Thinking skills must be supported with high motivation, so as to form the creativity of learners who can give new ideas. The title of this study is the contribution of motivation and creativity of the students the ability to think geographically in Bandung city high school. Based on the results of the study showed that free level of motivation, creativity and ability to think geographically is still low. This is possible because in high school geography lesson Bandung has not contributed greatly to the motivation and creativity of learners who can support the ability to think geographically. Learners will be interested to learn geography, if it is learned that can be known or atleast have enjoyed the benefits for learners. Geographical thinking skills that have been owned by learners naturally should return to learning geography sharpened displayed more creative in learning activities so that learners can hone the ability to think geographically in understanding the geography lessons
