Photograph management with 3D CAD and computer vision

Abstract

In the construction industry, construction works are recorded photographically. These photographs of construction site play a much increasingly prominent role in quality control. Equally, against a recent background of efforts to Integrated Practice as typified by Building Information Modeling, photograph management and management method are given importance in construction site. In this paper, the authors would like to propose the photograph management method using 3D CAD and photography information such as position and direction which is computed by computer vision.
