Abstract

Torque teno virus (TTV) has been reported in a wide range of mammals. In this study, we sequenced and analyzed the complete genome of a genetic variant of a rodent TTV, RoTTV3-HMU1 (Hainan Medical University 1). In this study, we sequenced and analyzed the complete genome of a genetic variant of a rodent TTV, RoTTV3-HMU1 (Hainan Medical University 1). The virus was found in a rat ( Rattus norvegicus ) in a residential area of Hainan Island, China.
