Abstract
Undertaking a large scale survey, covering 8 Moroccan political parties "during their national congress" represents an appropriate ethnographic approach to understand their internal decision-making process. This paper studies the various conditions of access to the field, both during easy and hard times. Getting to know the inner circles, making the case of academic «soudness» of the study, initiating a first time example seem to gather the key elements of success. However, rejecting to be part of the study reveals how party leadership struggle in dealing with a « democratized» access to information, that they can not control and that could re-shape the public image of their political organization.
