The Impacts of Facebook on Students Today: Status-quo and Policy Recommendations

Abstract

With the rapid development of online platforms today, social networking sites, especially Facebook, are having strong impacts on all aspects of student life. This article focuses on analyzing the impacts of Facebook on students in terms of these following main aspects: learning; skills development; attitude training. At the same time, the article also presents a number of policy recommendations to improve the efficiency of managing the impacts of Facebook as a social networking site on Vietnamese students in the coming time.
