Abstract

Six new triterpenes, saponaceolides E (1), F (2), and G (3), and saponaceoic acids I (4), II (5), and III (6) were isolated from the fruiting body of the fungus Tricholoma saponaceum, and their structures were elucidated on the base of extensive NMR experiments. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibited inhibitor activity against B16 and L929 cells. © 2002 Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.
