Estudo para fabricação de cilindros especiais para biometano

Abstract

Biomethane is composed around 90% of methane and can be used as combustible in cars and other vehicles. This fuel has lesser polluting potential than the others of fossil origin. Moreover, the generation of the biomethane is a friendly environment production because it uses urban residues, solid waste, vegetal biomass and others. The storage of the biomethane is necessary for not limit the utilization of this gas to the place where it is produced. An alternative is to manufacture high-pressure cylinders. For this we studied the processes of manufacture, the tests of quality for the construction of the cylinders and modeled a cylinder for biomethane storage.
