Abstract

This article discusses the linguistic study conducted by Abu Zaid, the literary concept promoted by Abu Zaid does not emphasize the understanding that the Qur'an is a literary work and must be analyzed as a literary work. However, he wanted to state that the Qur'an is a text and must be understood in accordance with scientific principles that are applied to understanding the text in general. In other words, Abu Zaid wants the analysis of the Qur'an as a text not only to rely on the language code problem related to the historical situation when the Qur'an was born, but also to understand the message language code that is addressed to the contemporary socio-cultural situation. .
