Abstract

In this paper the interaction of ultrashort laser pulses with a quartz sample are shown. The effect of redistribution of the passing laser radiation intensity after sample treatment in the mode of multiple filamentation is shown. Examples of the formation of ordered structures in bulk transparent solids due to the refractive index modification of the regions exposed to femtosecond laser radiation are given.
