Abstract
東京大学経済学部において，企業・団体・個人資料等の収集・保存・管理・公開の任にあたっている経済学部資料室について，現在に至るまでの推移，現時点での役割と機能について紹介する。また，資料室の最大のコレクションである山一證券資料に関して，その受入からその後の公開，出版に至るおよそ14年間の軌跡と，その過程で生起したさまざまな課題について明らかにし，山一證券資料の概要とその学問的・社会的意義についても論じる。
