Abstract

Bispecific T-cell engagers (BiTE s) may break multiple barriers that currently limit the use of immunotherapy in glioblastoma patients. We have recently described a novel BiTE specific for a mutated form of the epidermal growth factor receptor, EGFRvIII, that exerts potent antineoplastic effects against established invasive tumors of the brain. © 2013 Landes Bioscience.
