Abstract
This study aims to determine the actual, potential and limiting factors of corn (Zea mays L.) land suitability in South Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency. The method used in this research is survey method and descriptive data analysis and determination of land suitability class based on FAO method. The results of actual land suitability of corn crops in land units 1,2,3 and 4 in South Bontonompo District are marginally suitable (S3), while potential land suitability is very suitable (S1). Factors limiting actual land suitability are available nutrients (total N and P205). Efforts made for productivity by applying urea and P-36 fertiliser.
