Abstract
Studied the prevalence of depressive symptoms in psychology students. Human Ss included 147 normal male and female adolescent and adult psychology students (aged 16–49 yrs) in Argentina. Data on sociodemographic variables and depressive symptoms were obtained by questionnaire. The Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale was used. The results indicated a 27.2 percent point prevalence of depressive symptoms. The symptoms did not appear to be related to sex, age, marital status, or educational level.
