GAMBARAN IMPLEMENTASI RUMAH TUNGGU KELAHIRAN DI KABUPATEN SEMARANG

Abstract

Maternal waiting Homes is temporary shelter for high risk pregnant mothers. Maternal waiting homes in Semarang waiting already exists since the year 2016. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. Aims this research is to know the decrcription implementation of maternal waiting homes in Semarang. From the analysis of data obtained the maternal waiting homes in Semarang is a) Identified technical flow of maternal waiting homes. b) The main target of maternal waiting homes (MWH) is pregnant mothers at high risk c) Maternal waiting homes has been identified to facilitate access for high risk pregnant mothers, it aims to decrease the rate of maternal mortality d) Condusive environmental strategy and the creation of the communication flow for the target maternal waiting homes and health workers. Implementation of maternal waiting homes in Semarang is already good because next year will be built another two maternal waiting homes.
