Abstract
A minimally invasive surgical technique for repair of aortic aneurysms and aortoiliac occlusive disease was studied. A small periumbilical incision, nondisplacement of the small bowel outside the abdominal cavity, and hand-sewn anastomoses are performed without laparoscopic assistance. This technique may reduce the duration of hospital stay. © 2001 Society for Vascular Surgery and The American Association for Vascular Surgery.
