Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of economic growth, human development index (HDI), and population density on the poverty level of districts/cities in Jambi Province. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of district/city panel data in Jambi Province from 2013 to 2017. The data is sourced from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency of Jambi Province. The analytical method used is panel data regression analysis. The results showed that economic growth and population density had a significant effect on the poverty level of districts/cities in Jambi Province from 2013 to 2017, while the human development index (IPM) variable had no significant effect.
