ABSTRACTBackground: Nelumbo nucifera seeds are medicinally important due to the presence of phytochemicals with strong antioxidant potential. Extraction of these phytochemicals has been a major problem faced by the researchers.Objective: The purpose of the study was to optimize the process conditions for extraction of phenolic antioxidants from N. nucifera seed.
