Abstract

This paper aims to emphasize the lower participation of women in the Brazilian politics, the question of Quote's Law. In order to proceed with the analysis was built the Index of Woman's Participation in the Politics. The analysis showed that greater participation of women in politics requires more than Quote's Law. The path to be followed requires the production of political capital, among women.
