Abstract

The antifungal effect of chlorine, bromine and iodine derivates of kojic acid on economically significant micromycetes Phytophtora infestans, Alternaria solani, Botrytis cinerea, Fusarium nivale, Tilletia foetida was studied in vitro and in vivo on the testing pair plant: pathogene - tomatoes and potatoes: Phytophtora infestans. Kojic acid was used for the preparation of halogen derivates as a basic skeleton obtained by microbial transformation of saccharidic substrates. The most considerable antifungal effect on all tested micromycetes showed the bromokojic acid. Its efficiency on Phytophtora infestans in vivo is important from practical aspect, as it is comparable with the efficiency of commercial fungicides Dithane M-45 and Kuprikol 50.
