Abstract
This article shows the results of a research intended to identify employment effects created by the use of two of the most commonly used Artificial Intelligence devices (ai) in industry: industrial robots and expert systems. In order to fulfill this purpose, a study was carried out that included interviews and surveys in eight large goods producing companies in Manizales (Colombia). The findings show that factors related to motivation and stress in terms of the use of ai devices are linked to the training level and the personal characteristics of the workers.
