Abstract

Introduction: In the context of international trade, logistics plays a vital role in facilitating the movement of goods and services across borders, which directly impacts the efficiency and costs of trade operations. Methodology: A descriptive methodology, by analysing secondary data from sources such as reports of international organisations and case studies, was adopted to understand the effects of logistics on international trade. Results: The results reveal that logistics optimization, which includes improvements in transportation and storage, can significantly reduce costs and increase the competitiveness of companies in the global market. Discussion: The importance of investment in logistics infrastructure and training is emphasized, as such improvements can lead to greater operational efficiency and cost reduction. Conclusions: Logistics is a critical component in international trade facilitation. Improving logistics practices not only reduces costs, but also facilitates the flow of goods and strengthens trade relations between countries.
