Abstract

In an extensive review based on 305 references the etiology and treatment of bradycardia in patients with myocardial infarction is discussed. It is concluded that atropine should be used with caution. Whether it is wise to reverse a neuromuscular blockade with atropine and neostigmine is a problem still to be solved.
