Abstract

The Electronic Cultural Atlas Initiative (ECAI, ecai.org) is an international collaborative effort based administratively at Berkeley. Its mission is to improve education and scholarship through greater attention to time and place. Latitude, longitude, and time provide a useful basis for bringing together diverse network accessible resources that are related in time and place.
