Abstract

Blotiella currorii (Hook.) R.M.Tryon. (Dennstaedtiaceae), Dicranopteris linearis (Burm.F.) Underw. (Gleicheniace-ae), and Aleuritopteris farinosa (Forssk.) Fée (Pteridaceae) are reported for the first time in the flora of Senegal. They represent not only three more species but also two new families, Dennstaedtiaceae and Gleicheniaceae, for Senegal. Data on species, morphology, taxonomy, ecology, and geographic distribution are included. These three species were found in the interstices of the cliff of the 100-m Dindefelo Falls, which is in Kedougou region.
