Abstract

Three species of the Anthocoridae associated with Thrips palmi Karny in eggplant gardens of Thailand are reported. Wollastoniella rotunda is described as new to Science, and Orius minutus (Linnaeus) and O. tantillus (Motschulsky) are recorded from this region for the first time. A new subgenus, Paraorius, is proposed for Orius tantillus. © 1993, JAPANESE SOCIETY OF APPLIED ENTOMOLOGY AND ZOOLOGY. All rights reserved.
