Abstract

Feb 1952 n 2 (Trans) p 25-28: Graphic method and its application to prediction of sulphate scale formation in heater treaters, boilers, oil wells, cooling systems and water injection wells; graphs. Sept n 9 p 213-216; By experimentally deriving value of K term in Langelier equation, method has been developed which can be applied to waters of high salt content; statistical study is included which shows that experimentally derived values of K are in good agreement with actual conditions; several applications of final equation to production practice given; graphs.
