Abstract
Hyphodontia decorticans sp. nov. is described in group subalutacea. It is characterized by long, cylindrical-suballantoid spores, 7-10 x 2.5-3 μm and large cystidia, 100-250 x 8-10-15 μm. The species fruits under the bark of twigs and small branches of Nothofagus pumilio causing bark peeling.
