Case Report: Class III Direct Composite Restoration of an Upper Jaw Central Incisor

Abstract

Placement of restorative materials in the field of dental conservation can be done in two ways, namely direct and indirect restoration. Direct restorations have advantages including easy manipulation and can be done in one visit. Direct restorations can use composite resin materials. Composite resin restorations have the advantage of shorter treatment procedure time, good aesthetics and good bonding with enamel and dentin structures. The stages of how to perform class III restorations using composite resin materials on maxillary incisors will be explained in this case report. The patient came for one visit to have a restoration done on his teeth. Furthermore, the color of the teeth is determined to choose the color of the restoration used. then it can be concluded if to perform class III restorations on anterior teeth can use nanohybrid composite resin.
