Abstract

Instrumental Neutron Activation Analysis (INAA) using Ghana Research Reactor (GHARR-1) at the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GHAEC) operating at 15Kw at a thermal flux of 5 x 10 11 n cm-2 s-1 was used to determine nine elements in honey samples from Lokoja and Suleija North Central Nigeria. The elements were; Al, Br, Ca, Cl, K, Mg, Mn, Na, and V. The concentration of the elements varied in the different samples ranging from few ppm to few percentages.
