Abstract
Abstarct. Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) is a psychological disorder that causes time-consuming repetitive behaviors and decreased social function related to appearance. The purpose of this research is to determine the correlation between body image and Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) in women aged 18-21 years. Subjects in this research were 94 women aged 18-21 years. The sample was collected using accidental sampling. The research was using quantitative correlational method. This research used Body Image Scale and Body Dysmorphic Disorder Scale for collecting data. Data analysis methods used correlation product moment pearson. The analysis result indicated that rxy =-0,225 with p < 0,05 which means that there is a significant negative correlation between body image and BDD in women aged 18-21 years.
