Abstract

This study includes the species of Anacardiaceae recorded for the cangas of Serra dos Carajás (Pará state, Brazil), and provides detailed descriptions, comments and illustrations of the species. Three species were found: Anacardium occidentale and Tapirira guianensis, both Neotropical, and Thyrsodium spruceanum, restricted to South America.
